      F at bodies have long been politicised, however fat liberation seeks to change society by breaking away from body positivity and continuing to focus on the issues of fat people – separate from the generalised body acceptance movement.. The fat liberation movement focuses on the experience of fat people rather than general body acceptance or positivity for all. NAAFA is a non-profit human rights organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for fat people. NAAFA has been working since to eliminate discrimination based on body size and provide fat people with the tools for self-empowerment through public education, advocacy, and member support.
